Arrests

NORTH WOODMERE - Jamel D. Andrews, 27, of Laurelton, was arrested on Dec. 1 at 5:20 p.m. for shoplifting merchandise valued at $117.45 from a department store in Rockaway Turnpike. Andrews allegedly stole a men’s fleece hooded sweatshirt, two DVDs and a pair of slippers.

NORTH WOODMERE - Donna Campbell, 53, of Brooklyn, was arrested for shoplifting assorted children’s clothing from a store on Rockaway Turnpike at 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 3.

NORTH WOODMERE – Police arrested Brian F. Payton, 42, of Jamaica, for shoplifting a variety of merchandise from a department store on Rockaway Turnpike on Dec. 4 at 4 p.m.

Larceny

CEDARHURST – A TomTom GPS was stolen from a vehicle parked in a basement garage on Chestnut Street between 6 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 28, police said.

LAWRENCE – Between Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. and Dec. 3 at 7:30 a.m., a tire and rim were stolen from a vehicle parked on Central Avenue, according to police.

INWOOD – Baby clothing, $20 and assorted papers were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on Provenzano Street between Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 9 a.m., authorities said.

Criminal mischief

CEDARHURST – The front tire of a vehicle parked on Washington Avenue was punctured between Dec. 3 at 10 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 10 a.m., officials said.
