Police seek assistance

LAWRENCE – Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man in the photo above. He is wanted in connection with the robbery of the Bank of America at 400 Central Ave. on Jan. 24 at 10:47 a.m.

The man carried a small black grocery bag and did not display a weapon, according to police. He presented a demand note to a bank teller and after obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, he fled north on foot on Washington Avenue.

Seven employees and three customers were inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.

Larceny

LAWRENCE – A tablet computer was stolen from a store on Rockaway Turnpike between 2 and 6 p.m. on Jan. 25, police said.

LAWRENCE - A Garmin GPS and a digital camera were taken from a vehicle parked on Washington Place between 10 p.m. on Jan. 28 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 29, according to police.
