Larceny

HEWLETT – Employees at a drug store on Peninsula Boulevard reported that merchandise valued at $90 was stolen on March 8 at 6:15 p.m., police said.

LAWRENCE – A pair of bicycles were taken from a detached garage on Sunset Road between midnight and 8 a.m. on March 9, according to police.

LAWRENCE – Two bicycles were removed from the backyard of a house on Washington Avenue between 6 p.m. on March 9 and 10 a.m. on March 11, authorities said.

Petit larceny

HEWLETT – Between 5 p.m. on March 10 and 7 a.m. on March 11, an unlocked vehicle parked on Glenwood Avenue by Grant Park was ransacked and 50 baseball hats were taken, officials said.

Criminal mischief

CEDARHURST – A vehicle parked on 5th Avenue was damaged between March 8 at 9 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. on March 9, police said.

LAWRENCE – According to police, a car parked in a lot on Rockaway Turnpike was found with two large scratches around the entire vehicle, two scratches on the hood and scratches on all four doors on March 11 at 3:30 p.m.

Identity theft

WOODMERE – A resident of Brower Avenue reported on March 11 at 7 p.m. that there were multiple fraudulent transactions on their debit card, authorities said.
