Arrests

LAWRENCE - Sonia Rodriguez, 37, and Melissa Rodriguez, 17, both of Far Rockaway, were arrested for shoplifting at a department store on Rockaway Turnpike at 5:10 p.m. on July 19, police said.

INWOOD - Joshua E. Niles, 31, of Jamaica, was arrested for driving while intoxicated at the intersection of the Nassau Expressway and Bayview Avenue at 9:45 p.m. on July 18, authorities said.

Criminal mischief

WOODMERE - A vehicle parked on Grant Avenue was hit by eggs between 10 p.m. on July 18 and 8 a.m. on July 19, according to police.

INWOOD - A brick was thrown through the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked on Davis Avenue between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. on July 21, officials said.

HEWLETT - The chain link fence surrounding the utility facility on Mill Road was damaged between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on July 1, authorities said.

Petit larceny

CEDARHURST - An EZ-Pass was removed from a vehicle parked on Grove Avenue between 8 p.m. on July 19 and 6 a.m. on July 20, police said.
