Arrests

HEWLETT – Yakini M. Brown, 35, of Brooklyn, was arrested for shoplifting at a department store on Broadway at noon on Aug., 17, police said.

INWOOD – Odirr E. Torres-Nolasco, 25, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Morris Avenue at 8:40 p.m. on Aug. 17, according to police.

Larceny

INWOOD – Between 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 and 5 a.m. on Aug. 14, a laptop was stolen from a vehicle on Roger Avenue, authorities said.

WOODMERE – A bicycle was taken from the front porch of a house on Allen Road between 2 ad 8 a.m. on Aug. 19, officials said.

CEDARHURST – An unspecified amount of money was removed from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Pacific Avenue between Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. and Aug. 19 at 8:30 a.m., police said.

CEDARHURST – Between 9 p.m. on Aug. 18 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 19, an unspecified amount of money was stolen from a vehicle parked on Roselle Avenue, according to police.

WOODMERE – An iPod charger and a GPS and children’s clothing and an unknown amount of money and was removed from two vehicles parked on North Wood Lane between 10 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 20, officials said.

WOODMERE - Between 9 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 6 a.m. on Aug. 20, a GPS and an unspecified amount of money was stolen from a vehicle parked on Pine Street, police said.

WOODMERE – Sunglasses and unknown amount of money was taken from a vehicle parked on Northwood Lane at 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, according to police.
