Arrests

CEDARHURST- George B. Harte III, 48, of Middle Island, was arrested at the intersection of Peninsula Boulevard and Oxford Road at 2:50 p.m. on Sept. 1. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle second degree and four violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, police said.

Grand larceny

HEWLETT- A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle parked on Hewlett Heath Road between 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 30, according to police.

LAWRENCE- A GPS and an unspecified amount of cash was taken from a vehicle parked on Rockaway Turnpike on Aug. 28 between 2 and 3:30 p.m., police said.

INWOOD- A camera, flash pad and an unknown amount of money was stolen from a vehicle parked on Morris Avenue between 7 a.m. on Aug. 27 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 28, authorities said.

Petit larceny

HEWLETT- A bicycle that was not locked up was taken at 1125 Broadway at 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 27, officials said.

ATLANTIC BEACH- On Aug. 30 at 2:30 p.m., a bicycle was stolen from a driveway on Beech Street, according to police.
