NORTH BELLMORE- Gregory J. Scott, 59, of Bayview Avenue in Inwood, was arrested for allegedly robbing the Xtra Fuel gas station at 2663 Jerusalem Ave. at 10:50 a.m. on April 29, police said.

Scott entered the station’s office and took an unspecified amount of money from behind the counter according to police.

An employee, a 53-year-old man, confronted Scott and a struggle ensued. Another employee, a man, 77, then helped to restrain Scott until the police arrived, and suffered a cut to his hand. He refused medical treatment.

Arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on April 30, Scott was charged with robbery-second degree and robbery-third degree.

Larceny from auto

WOODMERE-The rear bumper of a vehicle parked on Longacre Avenue was stolen between 5 p.m. on April 27 and 6:20 a.m. on April 28, according to police.

HEWLETT-A set of keys was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on Holley Road between 10 p.m. on April 29 and 6:30 a.m. on April 30, police said.

HEWLETT-On April 30 at 6:20 p.m., a woman reported that assorted property was stolen from her vehicle parked on Peninsula Boulevard, authorities said.

Criminal mischief to auto

HEWLETT-A woman reported that a thrown rock damaged the windshield of her vehicle parked on Bergman Drive between 4 and 5 p.m. on April 28, officials said.

LAWRENCE-Three tires of a vehicle parked on Hollywood Crossing were damaged between 2 and 9 a.m. on April 29, according to the woman who reported the incidentto police.

CEDARHURST-A man told police that a tire of his vehicle parked on Central Avenue was slashed between 6 p.m. on April 28 and 9 a.m. on April 29.

CEDARHURST-On Cedarhurst Avenue, a man reported that a tire on vehicle was slashed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., authorities said.
