The Five Towns Community Chest 5K is one of the four races that comprise the newly created Southwest Nassau Race Series.

Do your feet itch for speed? Would you like to run like a cheetah, while supporting important local causes? Then crank up your engines and sign up for the first-ever Southwest Nassau Run Series.
Comprised of the Malverne Run for Education on Sunday, Oct. 6; the Inwood 5K run/walk on Sunday, Oct. 13; the Five Towns Community Chest 5K on Sunday, Oct. 20 and the Lynbrook Fly with the Owls 4-mile run on Saturday. Nov. 17, the series allows participants to sign up for all four races for $70.
Supporting this series of running races will help strengthen the communities involved by benefitting educational programs, student scholarships, civic activities and a variety of charitable agencies.
