Delayed a week due to Hurricane Irene, the Inwood Buccaneer Athletic Club held its annual Buccaneer Day at Lawrence High School last Sunday. More than 180 boys and girls participated in six football games and cheerleading for the event that began at 9 a.m.
Games were at 9, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., and 12:30, 2 and 3:30 p.m. Teams from Far Rockaway, Long Beach, Malverne and Franklin Square competed against the Buccaneer squads.
