A 23-year-old man Inwood walking home on Mott Avenue between Lawrence and Clinton avenues was punched twice in the face, fell to the ground and lost consciousness last Sunday at 1 a.m., police said.

Bleeding from his mouth when he regained consciousness, he discovered $25 from his wallet and Blackberry cell phone was taken, according to police.

He sought treatment at a local hospital for a fractured jaw later that day. He reported the robbery at the Fourth Precinct, but couldn’t describe his alleged attackers, police said.
