Inwood man charged in Woodmere robberies

Was found on Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst

Justin Valentin, 19, of Sheridan Boulevard, in Inwood, was arrested for allegedly stealing property from vehicles on Arbuckle Avenue and Woodmere and Clubhouse Road in Woodmere on Feb. 16, Nassau County police said.

Valentin is alleged to be one of two people who were looking into parked vehicles in the early morning hours of that Friday. An unidentified person called 911. Valentin was in front of a home on Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst. He was found to have items allegedly taken from the cars in Woodmere, according to police.

He is charged with criminal possession of stolen property fourth-degree, criminal possession of stolen property fifth-degree, criminal possession of a weapon fourth-degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
