Golf and games were a large part of the Cedarhurst-based JCC of the Greater Five Towns annual golf outing and cards day at the Inwood Country Club on July 16 to benefit the JCC’s kosher food pantry.
The day of golf included brunch, lunch on the course, cocktail, dinner and prizes. Card playing included canasta and a duplicate bridge tournament, along with mah jong, a brunch and refreshments.
Nearly $100,000 was raised, said JCC Executive Director Rina Shkolnik, who said it was a “beautiful event.”
