Lawrence alumni summer bash

The 2011 Lawrence Alumni Summer Bash — limited to classes that graduated between 1968 and 1984 and their invited friends — will take place on Friday, Sept. 9 starting at 7 p.m. at the Sun and Surf Beach Club on Atlantic Boulevard in Atlantic Beach.

This reunion will feature live music by “Tornado Warning” a group comprised of seven Lawrence grads: Mark (’82), Anthony (’72) and Rob Cafaro (’86), Patrick Carroll (’75), Rich Shafler (’80), Frank Vilardi (’69) and Darryl Scott Gross (’74), who is coming from Georgia to help perform songs from the 70s and 80s.

In addition to the music, the event will feature a full buffet with open bar (wine, beer and mixed drinks are included), a cocktail hour with hors d’oureves from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The open bar is until 11:30 p.m.
