Lawrence residents involved with RZA

Former Village of Lawrence Mayor Martin Oliner will continue serving on the national board of the Religious Zionists of America as the organization restructures and refocuses its mission after naming Rabbi Gideon Shloush of Congregation Adereth El in Manhattan executive vice president.  

Oliner has served as president of the RZA that will now look to establish local chapters around the country, facilitating missions to Israel for college students and fostering a synthesis of religious and historic national aspirations of the Jewish people. 

Current Lawrence village administrator Ron Goldman is vice president of regional relations for RZA. He also live in Lawrence.
