Four Lawrence students, third- and fourth-graders Rosemary Sorto-Cruz and Cheyenne Smith at the Number Five School and sixth- and seventh-graders Ariella Schwartz and Bhawan Sandu from Lawrence Middle School have works being exhibited in the Long Island Museum’s annual student art show.

“Colors of Long Island: Student Expressions,” is on display through Dec. 31. The students focused on Long Island’s landscape in their artworks. Art teacher Dan Smalley oversaw Schwartz and Sandu’s work, while art teachers Anne Young and Lee Eskin guided Sorto-Cruz and Smith’s creations.
