Katy Miller performed the role of Tuptim during Lawrence High School's recent production of "The King and I."

Lawrence High School students performed a production of "The King and I" from Nov. 18-21. The play was presented with the support of “The Christina Mazzitelli Academy of Fine and Performing Arts."
Richard Buckley, director of the show, said, “‘The King and I’ was a beautiful expression of community working together. The teachers, the students and the parents all helped in creating this wonderful production.”
Rob Verone, Lawrence High School art and technical advisor who oversaw the stage design, said, "the set itself was one of the most visually pleasing sets we’ve ever made. It was an outstanding performance from the cast and crew."
