Man wanted for identity theft in Hewlett

Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who is alleged to have committed identity theft in Hewlett.
On Monday, June 22, of last year at noon, the man deposited 10 company bank checks in the victim’s name in the amount of $3,680 into victim’s account. On the following day, the man made three fraudulent withdrawals from victim’s account for $3,400. Both transactions were made without the permission or authority of the victim, police said.
