Renowned artist Max Ferguson, a Woodmere native and Lawrence High School graduate (class of 1976), was interviewed live on NBC New York Nightly News with Chuck Scarborough on Tuesday, June 5 at about 7:20 p.m.

Ferguson profiled in the April 26-May 2 Nassau Herald "Finding beauty in the everyman" currently has his 13th solo exhibition “Painting my Father,” on view at the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion Museum in Greenwich Village through June 29.

The show highlights 30 realist paintings Ferguson created of his father — Richard Ferguson — who died at 92 in 2005.
