Posted

On Sunday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. the town of Hempstead’s Mobile Town Hall will be providing Child I.D. and passport services to residents at the Hewlett Bay firehouse at 25 Franklin Ave. in Hewlett.

To take advantage of the passport services residents must bring a driver’s license and proof of citizenship, which can take the form of a certified birth certificate, previous passport or Certificate of Naturalization.

For the Child I.D. program children will have their picture and fingerprints taken — information that can prove invaluable in the event of an emergency. Parents or legal guardians must be present.

Councilman Anthony Santino and town officials will be on hand to assist residents, answer questions, and address community concerns.

Visit the town’s website at toh.li/passport-services or call the Passport Office at 516-812-3100 for passport fee details.
