The National Council of Jewish Women Peninsula Section presented Hewlett resident Abby Fox with the prestigious Hannah G. Solomon Award at its Founder’s Day luncheon at the Woodmere Club on June 4.
Fox, who grew up in Cedarhurst, has been a member of NCJW since the 1970s. She has served in significant roles, including president, and was a founding member of New Generation, an adjunct group of the Peninsula Section. The award is named for the woman who helped to establish the NCJW.
