Cedarhurst-based Rock & Wrap It Up! and Let All the Children Play were the beneficiaries of the $700 raised through the 34th annual Sunny Atlantic Beach Club charity volleyball tournament on July 26.
Teams of four players each competed on the sand at Sunny Atlantic and received a T-Shirt, along with refreshments. Rock & Wrap It Up! is an award-winning anti-poverty think-tank that partners with professional sports leagues and musical acts to collect unused food and other items for donation to organizations that serve those in need. Let All the Children Play aims to improve the lives and dignity of all children by developing accessible playgrounds and inclusive recreation programs.
