Ogden Elementary School students in the Hewlett-Woodmere School District were welcomed back to a new academic year with a Waffles Welcome breakfast on the first day of school on Aug. 31.
School administrators and the PTA joined forces with Waffle Cabin, Bagel Boss, DJ Pace and Adventure Bound for the students in grades three to fifth. There was also a game show, photo booth, sports activities such as Gaga and volleyball, and hand-painted tattoos.
