The Hewlett Neck home of Yuri and Marina Grinberg, was the place to be last Saturday as approximately 150 people enjoyed a night of dinner, music, dancing and drinks, along with a private Texas Hold-Em poker tournament that included cash prizes in an effort to raise money for the Long Island chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Multiple Sclerosis or MS is an autoimmune disease that effects the central nervous system. An estimated 400,000 people nationwide suffer the affects of this illness that has the body’s immune system mistakenly attacking its own tissue.

More than $10,000 was raised and the Grinbergs thank all the sponsors and everyone who donated to the fundraiser.

Grinberg is the owner of the 21 Toppings yogurt shop in Hewlett and will be involved in future chapter events.
