Peninsula Kiwanis members and their spouses held a baby shower at the Woodmere home of Anthony and Toni Merendino on June 7, where a variety of items were collected.
The goal of the project is to help mothers leave the hospital with their baby and needed articles for the baby. Peninsula Kiwanis donated the items to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside to help families in need.
