Plaut family keeps in running in the ING Miami Marathon

For the sixth time, the Plaut family of Cedarhurst, mom, Tova, and her sons Jake, 17, and Sam, 14, will lace up their sneakers and run in the ING Miami Marathon on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2, to raise money for Chai Lifeline.

Proceeds will benefit Camp Simcha run by Chai Lifeline. The camp provides a place for children with serious illnesses to play ball, swim, take part n boating, exercise their creativity and become friends with others living with health challenges.

Chai Lifeline also provides year-round support for families with seriously ill members with programs such as hospital services, counseling, crisis intervention and insurance support.
