V. I. Properties, a real estate company in Hewlett, hosted a dual celebration in its Broadway office on Feb. 9, as the firm founded by Natalya Mikinberg commemorated its 23rd anniversary on that Wednesday and honored its sales force.

Rozana Zemlyansky and Sara Feldman, who team up at work, were recipients of the company’s Platinum Producer Award, not only for their sales prowess but also for their community contributions at Hewlett and Ogden elementary schools and with the Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association and local places of worship.

Feldman also was given the Achievement Award for leading a tie-dye class at Hewlett Elementary School. “We are not just selling homes we are part of their lives,” she said, referring to the company’s clients. Chaos, the good kind ensues in her classroom, Feldman said. “The kids are so excited,” she said, “it’s very rewarding.”

Svetlana Vaksman was recognized for her work with the firm’s Gold Producer Award and contributions to events at Hewlett Elementary School. She works in tandem with Tatiana Agrom.
Wendy Lichtenberg received the Silver Producer Award for her efforts both a real estate agent and as an involved member of the community.

Pinella Tajcher was also given a Silver Producer Award for her professional efforts and volunteer contributions as an active member on the HES Parent Teacher board.

Ahmed Mohamed, the most recent addition to the V.I. Properties staff and the only man in the office, received the Persevering Agent Award and is also an active member of the community.

Mikinberg noted that the company sponsors a $3,000 scholarship that is awarded to a Hewlett High School senior who is most active in the community and has not received any other awards. “We all work hard and we work together,” she said.
