Joe Kmiotek of Lynbrook took first for Best Car with his 1938 Chevy at the annual Rock Hall Fun Car Show presented by the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America’s Queens Region was held at the museum at 199 Broadway in Lawrence last Sunday.
For five hours, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors viewed an array of cars that included a black 1950 Oldsmobile owned by Joseph Florio of Flushing, who placed second for Best Car and John Kamparveen who took third for his deep gold-colored 1956 Volkswagen.
