Ronald LeBovici dies at 78

Ronald LeBovici, who lived in Hewlett for 48 years, died on Jan. 21. He was 78 years old.

Originally from Brooklyn, LoBovici was an attorney in Queens and a member of the Queens County Bar Association, past president of Temple Beth Emeth and Brandeis Association in Queens County as well as the former police commissioner of Hewlett Harbor. He and his wife Tanya LeBovici were married on July 18, 1959.

He is survived by his wife Tanya, Marni Ollinger and Jackie Hurwitz.

Services were led by Rabbi Todd Chizner and held at the Boulevard-Riverside Chapel in Hewlett on Jan. 23. LeBovici was interred at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon.
