RWU recognized at LI Nets game

Cedarhurst residents Syd and Diane Mandelbaum, who run the nonprofit think tank Rock and Wrap It Up!, were honored at the Long Island Nets vs. Westchester Knicks G-League game on Nov. 3, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Rock and Wrap It Up! was noted for feeding more than 300,000 Long Islanders with food generated from the coliseum, since 2005. In its 27th year, RWU researches, discovers and nurtures potential sources willing to share renewable assets. Donors include touring bands, schools, the hospitality industry, pro sports teams, gaming parlors, hospitals and TV and film shoots across North America.
