Sally Telias of North Woodmere honored with NCJW’s Hannah G. Solomon award

Sally Telias, a licensed CPA, who volunteers her time with the National Council of Jewish Women, Peninsula Section, received the organization’s Hannah G. Solomon Award at the group’s luncheon at the Woodmere Club on May 3.

Telias, a North Woodmere resident, serves on the Peninsula Section’s board and is the financial coordinator and Thrift Shop treasurer. She previously served as a co-president and a Section and New Generation treasurer. In 2003, Telias received the NCJW’s Emerging Leader Award.

Her Section work also includes creating visual presentations for guest speakers and members, along with developing the group’s website.
