SIBSPlace holiday party in Hewlett is a treat for all ages

Children and adults took up the holiday spirit mantle at the annual SIBSPlace party at the organization's Hewlett headquarters on Dec. 22. SIBSPlace, a program of South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, serves children ages 5-17 living with a sibling or parent who has cancer or another serious or devastating illness.

The festivities began at 5 p.m. with dinner and then about an hour later SIBS children presented a show written by SIBS staff, which featured the children in an array of costumes and make up. Santa Claus and Hanukkah Harry delivered gifts to each child after the show.
