Mozart’s Coronation Mass, English madrigals and Hanukkah and Christmas songs were among the selections performed by the United Choral Society at its winter concert at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library last Sunday.

Sharon Pesenti conducted and Debbie Schall played the piano, as soloists, tenor Jesse Crossen, soprano Alexis Pesenti, alto Melissa Schoenberger and bass Tom Stallone were featured.

This concert was dedicated in memory of longtime member Shirley Golub, who died last month. Besides being a United Choral singer, Golub was a member of the Five Towns Music and Art Foundation and the Rockaway Music Club.
