The Woodmere Club hosted a ceremonial flag raising on Saturday, the first of several centennial celebrations, as the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association named it “Club of the Year” in February.
Guests included Town of Hempstead Councilman Anthony J. Santino and Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos.
