For three days junior and senior firefighters from the 3rd Battalion fire departments that includes Lawrence-Cedarhurst, Hewlett, Inwood, Meadowmere Park, Woodmere and Valley Stream showed off their skills and equipment at a trio of events.
On July 30 at North Woodmere Park, the junior firefighters held a drill. The following day there was an adult must at the park and on Aug. 1, battalion members paraded through Valley Stream.
