The skies alternated between eerie gray and sunny warmth, the wind kicked up, but there was no disguising that Halloween season had descended on the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence as children and adults were dressed in their scary best or in the costume of their favorite superhero on Oct. 24.
Trunks of vehicles, at least 10, along with four tables were decorated to scare, but also to treat as all had candy for the kids to collect. The second annual fall festival also included Halloween-themed music, crafts and prizes.
