Two young men were allegedly robbed at gunpoint of their cell phones and an unknown amount of money by a man on Wanser Avenue in Inwood at 10:18 p.m. on Sept. 26, police said.

The two men, 20 and 15, were walking on Wanser Avenue when they were approached from behind by a man who displayed a handgun and demanded their property, according to police.

After the two handed over their cell phones and money, the alleged thief fled west on Wanser Avenue. No one was hurt, police said.

The man is described as black, approximately 20-years-old, 6-foot-1, wearing a blue denim jacket and a red baseball hat.
