The second annual “Unity Day” was held at the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence last Saturday. Families of men and women in the military were honored and school supplies were distributed to a few hundred children from elementary to high school. There was also food, horse rides, games, activities, face painting and giveaways for the children.
