A Lindenhurst man was charged in a one-crash where a vehicle he was driving overturned on Rosedale Road near Lawrence Court in North Woodmere and killed the lone passenger, Pablo Rivera, of Valley Stream on Feb. 10, Nassau police said.
Near 4:30 a.m., police responded to the scene where the driver of a 2023 Toyota, Aaron Cooper, 26, of Lido Parkway, was headed northwest and apparently lost control of the vehicle, police said.
Rivera, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cooper was arrested and taken by police ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
He was charged with manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, assault, driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. Cooper will be arraigned when “medically practical,” police said.
