Seaside Spectacular Collector’s Car Show
Whether you want to spend a relaxing afternoon admiring vintage collector cars or enjoying an early fall day at the beach or both, the Town of Hempstead’s annual Seaside Car Show is always a great place to spend some time. Car enthusiasts will want to check out the many classic vehicles on view, including this year’s display of exotic vehicles. Awards are given to the best. Entertainment adds to the fun and the glistening beach always beckons.

Gala Annual Music Party
Renowned clarinetist Stanley Drucker is a special guest along with soprano Karen Lehman DiMartino at the American Chamber Ensemble’s annual gala fundraising concert this weekend. They will join ACE directors clarinetist Naomi Drucker and pianists Blanche Abram and Marilyn Lehman, with violinist Eriko Sato and cellist Chris Finckel, for an afternoon of informal music making in a preview of ACE’s upcoming season. The program includes varied works that demonstrate the ensemble’s breadth and depth of talents.
