Local father, husband will be missed by many

Chris Padesky, of Franklin Square, died on Nov. 18, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Padesky and his family participated in the Lustgarten Foundation’s annual Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk on Oct. 9, at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh. Padesky, who graduated from H. Frank Carey High School in 1978, is survived by his wife, Joyce, and two daughters.
