Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow recently participated in Freeport’s 15th annual Peace March on Saturday, May 4. Joined by hundreds of community members clad in yellow, Legislator Koslow marched from Freeport High School, east on Pine Street, to Bayview Avenue, then south to Merrick Road, west to Brookside Avenue, and finally north on Brookside back to the high school. The event, organized by Freeport Cares, a collaborative effort among schools, the village, and various community organizations, aims to promote unity and kindness.

“Freeport’s Peace March is a beautiful display of love, kindness, and unity at a time when our world needs so much more of all of those things,” Legislator Koslow said.

“As an elected official and a father, it was truly inspiring to see our school community mobilize in this way, and I applaud Freeport Cares and all of the participants for making this such a meaningful event.”
