Crime Report

People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.

Arrests
n Mimi Laso, 22, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, assault and menacing after getting into a verbal argument with other coworkers at Rios Deli, at 4347 Austin Blvd. in Island Park, on Sept. 6.
n Frank Cipriani, 39, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with shoplifting a GPS at Kohl’s, at 3600 Long Beach Rd. in Ocaenside, on Aug. 28.

n Randy Summerville, 29, of Elmont was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at Long Beach Police Department on Aug. 28.
n Shawn Usher, 19, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at Park Place and East Hudson Street on Aug. 29.
n Michael Breglia, 47, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration on Aug. 30.
n Brendan Asher, 17, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and obstructing government administration after he was observed holding an open container of beer and running from a police officer on Rochester Avenue in East Atlantic Beach on August 31.
n Craig Pell, 40, of Long beach was arrested for an open county warrant by the Long Beach Police Department at 4 W. Chester Street on Sept. 4.

Larceny
n A beach bag containing glasses, a watch and a camera was taken from a common hallway at Richmond Rd. in Lido Beach on Sept.3 . n A wallet was taken from a beach bag at Nickerson Beach in Lido Beach on Sept. 5. A debit card was used at Home Depot in Hempstead.
n Two bicycles were taken from a driveway on Garden City Avenue in Point Lookout on Sept 2.

Hit-and-run
n A Town of Hempstead employee was struck by a black Mercedes, which left the scene, while he was directing traffic on Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach on Sept. 5.

DWI
n Rainey Schnettler, 49, of Lindenhurst was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.
n Kelly Flood, 25, of Merrick was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusing a breath test at Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach on Aug. 30.
n Alphonso Mintz, 41, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Austin Boulevard and Vanderbilt Avenue in Island Park on Sept. 1.
n Marcella Capobianco, 30, of Syosset was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach on Sept. 7.
