“Is circulation the be-all end-all?” she said. “If you don’t take a book out, that doesn’t count?” Parr said.
The West End branch is a valuable resource for the people in that community, she said, and she wants to fight to keep it alive. “I’m trying to stand up for what’s right,” Parr said. “I have to do what’s best for the community.”
