Central High School fashion show May 6

The Valley Stream Central/Memorial PTSA will hold its annual Scholarship Dinner Dance and Fashion Show. on Thursday, May 6. It will take place at the Coral House, 70 Milburn Ave. in Baldwin, from 7 to 11 p.m.

Tickets are $50 each. There will be entertainment provided by the Memorial Junior High School Tri-M Orchestra, Central High School Jazz band and a DJ. Members of the Class of 2010 will be modeling clothing from Di Re Formal Wear of Franklin Square and Estelle's Dressey Dresses of Farmingdale.

The Coral House will serve a seven-course meal with dessert and unlimited beverages. There will be raffles and door prizes.

Proceeds from this major fundraiser go toward scholarships for graduating seniors, to further education and assist with other PTSA-funded programs. Last year's function enabled the PTSA to give out over 15 scholarships to Central seniors and Memorial ninth graders.
