Bring the family to join Phineas, Ferb and the gang for a high-energy ride with their wildest invention yet, when the beloved characters from the Disney Channel’s animated series embark on a live action adventure. Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Isabella, Baljeet, Buford, and their friends, make the most of the last day of summer by building an invention bigger, better and more amazing than ever. And, before you can wonder, “Hey, Where’s Perry?” the beloved pet platypus shifts to his secret double life as Agent P to foil another one of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plans. Musical madness abounds along with hilarious hijinks.

Ittai Shapira and The Knights
Acclaimed violinist Ittai Shapira joins the innovative chamber orchestra The Knights for dynamic concert featuring the premiere of Shapira’s new composition, “The Old Man and the Sea for Violin and Orchestra.” The piece was inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s classic novel The Old Man and the Sea, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Also on the program are works by two composers who shaped the American sound in classical music: Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite and Charles Ives’ The Unanswered Question.

Shades of Grey
“Come to the cabaret” in this acclaimed musical tribute to Joel Grey, conceived and performed by Bob Spiotto, Hofstra University’s artistic director of community arts programs and executive producer of Hofstra Entertainment. Spiotto educates and entertains as he pays tribute to Grey in both story and song. With musical direction by Stephen C. Pagano, Shades of Grey features songs from Cabaret, Chicago, Wicked, George M!, The Fantasticks, The Grand Tour, and more. Spiotto’s 75-minute one-man show, which has been performed throughout the area to an enthusiastic response, enthralls audiences with a peek into Grey’s world, inspired by Spiotto’s own performance as the master of ceremonies in a production of Cabaret at Hofstra.
