Arrests

Cathy Groom, 33, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon at West Market Street on May 4.

Joseph Chensky, 31, of Baldwin was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing at Kentucky Street and West Beech Street on May 8.

David Parler, 18, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon at East Hudson Street on May 8.

People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.
