Project Challenge honors community members

Project Challenge of Long Beach held their annual awards brunch at Temple Avodah in Oceanside, where they honored members of the community for their support of the local youth and family program on May 16.

Honorees included Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Chairman Lawrence Elovich, Real Estate Broker Vicky Bartko Green, the Long Beach City Council, Dr. Lowell Taubman and Hometown Insurance and Youth awards went to Bryant Wolfson, Estephanie Perez, Gizelle Aguilar, Chloe Czinsky and Giovanna Raffa. Project Challenge’s vice president and counsel, Francis X. McQuade, served as emcee. Project Challenge is a community-based organization that seeks to provide a support system for youth and their parents with educational, cultural, recreational, social and job assistance programs and strives to improve quality of life for all.
