Arrests
On May 9 at 7:30 a.m., a 40-year-old Elmont man was arrested and charged with criminal contempt at Lynbrook Police Headquarters at1 Columbus Drive.
At 12:56 p.m. on May 9, a 24-year-old Douglaston man was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal oossession of a controlled substance and equipment violation on Hempstead Avenue in Lynbrook.
A 23-year-old Valley Stream woman was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance on Hempstead Avenue in Lynbrook on May 9 at 12:56 p.m.
On May 10 at 6:10 p.m., a 28-year-old of North Baldwin, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and unregistered motor vehicle on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

A 37-year-old Valley Stream man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and failed to stop on Horton Avenue in Lynbrook on May 13 at 9:30 a.m.
Petit larceny.
At 10 p.m. on May 6, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed their Apple iPhone 5 from their gym bag, which was inside a locker at Sport Time located at 175 Merrick Road, Lynbrook. The value of the phone is $ 800.
On May 7 At 3 p.m. a complainant, the manager of Crown Ford Used Cars located at 247 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook, reported that an unknown person(s) removed the driver and passenger side Lower Rocker Moulding from a 2013 Ford Mustang. The value of the moulding is $ 556.36. The moulding was taken between April 30 and May 7.

Identity theft
At 5:15 p.m. on May 10, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) made two unauthorized charges on their Signature Bank MasterCard. The charges total $736.97.
