Turf Island Oilers in Summer Slam

East Rockaway, Lynbrook, Malverne lacrosse team go undefeated

The Turf Island Oilers lacrosse team from Lynbrook, East Rockaway and Malverne, made up of 10- and 11-year-olds, participated in a “Summer Slam” recently.

The five games were played in Pemberton, NJ, and the Turf Island Oilers went undefeated in the weekend tournament. The next tournament for the team will be in Hershey, PA. July 27 and 28.
