RVC Tech Geek is owned by Marc and Dawn Pennisi, who are the third generation born and raised in Rockville Centre. “Grandma” was born on Driscoll Lane in 1908. Original houses are still in the family, and relatives, who were contractors, were instrumental in building the St. Agnes Cathedral. Marc’s father, Dr. Anthony Pennisi, was a well-known plastic surgeon at Mercy Hospital.

Marc Pennisi holds a degree in electrical engineering from NY Institute of Technology, and spent the last 20 years working for Fortune 500 companies as a project manager, specializing in improving and supporting computer systems. His background is strong in security and storage. He feels that educating people in proper backup is vital. After all, these days most of us put everything that’s important to us online.

RVC Tech Geek can troubleshoot and repair PCs, laptops, IPods, tablets, mobile phones, TV’s and a myriad of other audio or multimedia applications. They can set up your online gaming, or add devices to your computer, such as a camera, printer, scanner, webcam or storage system. Your home can be set up to run by remote control, or a phone system can be installed or rewired. Add an outdoor sound system, a home theater, revive your turntable, or recover the computer data you feared was lost forever.

Seniors or anyone moving or downsizing can truly benefit from RVC Tech Geek. Not only can they address, setup, install or fix anything technical, but also they can hang pictures, hide wires, or put together furniture. Internet and computer training is also available.

The store is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and  Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. They offer pickup, delivery and in-home appointments.
